MARCH 2026 QUARTER:
Nutrition & Exercise: March 19th, 2026 (Thursday 1-5)
This course will provide students with a basic understanding of nutrition and health, as well as the correlation between stress and wellness, and lifestyle and wellness. Students will learn the remedies that massage therapists use to promote overall well-being in their clients. Includes textbook(s) and materials.

Herbology: March 21, 2026 (Saturdays 8:30-12:30)
Students learn how to reference legitimate sources of information in preparation for being a knowledgeable source for their clients. Class activities include the selection and care of plants and the preparation of tinctures. Includes materials and textbook(s).

JUNE 2026 QUARTER:
Special Needs Massage: June 2, 2026 (Tuesday 5-9)
The purpose of this course is to address a non-typical client who could benefit from Massage Therapy. The student will explore different massage techniques, transferring techniques, intake, and contraindications to help those extraordinary people, such as disabled children, the elderly, the handicapped, and the injured. Includes textbook(s).

Shiatsu Massage: June 3, 2026 (Wednesday 5-9)
Shiatsu massage is the art of gentle manipulation using hands, fingers, and foot pressure to these various points, which influence the chi flow throughout the body and create balance and harmony to the entire system. This course provides the student with an introduction to Asian healing theory. Emphasis is on the practical application of shiatsu. Includes textbook(s).

Infant& Prenatal: June 5, 2026 (Friday 8:30-12:30)
This course shows students how to do safe, supportive massage to relieve the physical discomforts of pregnancy, assist in a meaningful way during labor and delivery, and help in the recovery process following birth. Students learn contraindications to prenatal massage and positioning concerns during the trimesters. Students also learn the benefits and applied techniques of infant massage. Includes textbook(s).

Equine Massage: June 6, 2026 (Saturday 11-4)
This is the perfect class for horse enthusiasts. In this course, students will learn Equine massage techniques, including the study of equine skeletal and muscular structure, along with pain signs and a light review of pathology. The purpose of equine massage is to manipulate and improve the circulation of the animal’s muscles to perfect their health and performance. Some of these classes will take place outside of campus.

AUGUST 2026 QUARTER:
Lymphatic Drainage: August 3, 2026 (Monday 1-5)
Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle, rhythmic form of massage that mimics the lymphatic system. Students will learn how to use massage to open the initial lymphatics and stimulate lymph vessel contractions to reduce edema. Students will review their knowledge of the lymphatic system as they are taught the theories and basic techniques of Lymphatic Drainage Massage. Includes textbook(s).

Reflexology: August 19th, 2026 (Wednesday 5-9)
Reflexology has been used for centuries as a tool to help heal the body as a whole. Students are taught an introduction to this ancient healing technique. Reflexology has been used to increase body functions with reflex point stimulation on the hands and feet. Students learn proper body mechanics, zone therapy, and full session reflexology procedures. **To receive certification, one must complete 20 internship hours in Reflex. Includes textbook(s).

Teaching Methods: August 22nd, 2026 (Saturdays 8:30-12:30)
Have you ever thought about teaching what you love? If you have an interest in teaching at a private school or simply want to improve your talents at educating your clientele, this would be a helpful course for you. Teaching theories, teaching plans, and required instructor skills are taught and practiced in the classroom. You will learn fundamental principles for teaching in our massage program but also enhance other topics you may be interested in for educating others. Learn to implement and lead others successfully. Includes textbook(s).
